What is the build quality like?

The build quality is very good, much better than it's predecessor. High quality unit which feels really sturdy and built to last.

What methods can I use to play music?

You have multiple options. You can use a bluetooth connection to play music or via a standard headphone jack (included in box) or via a Micro SD card that is already loaded with songs.

How powerful is the bass?

You get 30 Watts of power running through this device, so the bass is very good and punchy. Compared to quite a few other models, this one has deep bass.

How long does the battery last on this model?

Between 18-20 hours for constant playback. It depends on how loud your music is but if it's not full blast you will almost get a full day's worth of enjoyment from it.

Is this speaker waterproof?

Yes, fully waterproof up to IPX6 standards, so can withstand jets of water under pressure in a test environment. Going to be fine in your shower or in the rain with no issues.

What is the life of the battery? How easy is it to replace? Does it have an aux port for a portable cd player?

The battery lasts around 18 hours playing music constantly. The battery is an internal battery as with all good speakers. As for the aux port, yes there is an aux and the speaker does come with the cable as well so connecting to any device such as a CD player would be fine.

Could you plug a microphone into the auxiliary socket to use the device as a mini public address system?

Hi Alan,

The device will play any sound that is transmitted through the auxiliary cable. Therefore I think this would be possible.
